General Questions

We’re based in Ferndale, Randburg at 80 Bond Street (entrance via 375 Vale Avenue).

An indoor heated pool maintained at approximately 32 °C year-round. It measures 15 m × 12 m with a 7 m × 12 m platform and a 3 m depth, suitable for all programmes from baby lessons to scuba training.

Each class is 30 minutes, designed to maintain focus and energy.

(Baby Hydrotherapy sessions are 20–25 minutes.)

Yes. Our indoor facility allows for year-round lessons, excluding public holidays and short scheduled breaks.

Yes. You can book a FREE class assessment, joining a real class before enrolment.

(Standard 10–15 min assessments are also available by appointment.)

  • Proper swimwear (no cotton or loose clothing)
  • Swim cap (required for everyone)
  • Towel
  • Reusable swim nappy for non-toilet-trained swimmers
  • Optional labelled water bottle

Absolutely not. We never force submersion.
Children progress at their own pace through trust, repetition, and readiness.

Yes. There is a viewing area where parents can observe lessons comfortably.

Yes. We welcome swimmers of all abilities, including those with Autism or Cerebral Palsy, and adapt lessons to individual comfort and communication styles.

That’s perfectly normal. Our coaches are patient and experienced in building trust, we’ll never rush or pressure your child. 

Fees & Billing

Covers admin and annual renewal.

We offer two flexible options:

  1. Month-to-Month Plan: billed monthly in advance.
  2. Fixed-Term Contract: 10 billed months = 12 months of lessons (2 months free).


Contracts auto-renew unless cancelled in writing with one full calendar month’s notice.

Yes, all prices include VAT.

Monthly payments are by debit order only.

Yes. Provide one full calendar month’s written notice to pause or cancel. 

Contracts renew automatically if no notice is given.
 

Make-ups are allowed within the same month, subject to availability.

Missed lessons outside that window are forfeited.

Assessments

Yes. Every swimmer is assessed to ensure correct class placement.

Choose a 10–15 min Standard Assessment or a Free Class Assessment.

Our instructor checks water comfort, floating, kicking, and breath control.

We also observe confidence, instruction-following, and age-appropriate motor skills.

Parents may observe or participate, depending on the swimmer’s age group. 

Missed assessments must be re-booked; new times are subject to availability. 

Facilities & Safety

Yes. It’s fully indoor, salt-chlorinated, and heated to 32 °C for comfort.

Shallow area ≈ 1.2 m, deep area ≈ 3 m.

(Suitable for scuba and advanced training.)

Yes. Male and female change rooms with hot showers are provided.

Showers are rinse-only for scuba users to protect water balance.

  • No running on the pool deck.
  • Keep cylinders and gear secure.
  • No sharp or glass objects near the pool.
  • Obey lightning and evacuation instructions from staff.

Yes. Qualified staff and coaches are trained in first-aid, CPR, and O₂ administration.

Only with prior consent from the school or parent, and always respecting privacy.

Yes. For safety, if lightning is seen or heard within 10 km, the pool is cleared immediately and resumes 30 minutes after the last thunder or flash.

Land drills or dry activities may replace in-water time when suitable.

School Partnerships

Yes. Splash Co offers a safe transport service with licensed drivers and attendance check-ins.

Structured 30-minute lessons, qualified instructors, small classes, progress tracking, and termly certificates.

Partnerships are charged per learner, per term at competitive rates.

Full-service and pool-only models are available.

  • Teachers or assistants remain on-site during lessons.
  • Learners supervised at all times.
  • No forced submersion.
  • Lightning and hygiene protocols followed as for main school.

Scuba Partnerships

Yes. The facility supports full confined-water modules, refreshers, and sign-offs for all major agencies (PADI, SSI, NAUI, RAID, BSAC).

Up to 15 divers at once, managed by your school’s ratios.

R100 + VAT per diver, minimum 5 divers, for a 3-hour session.

No. Bring your own filled cylinders and equipment (no fills on site).

Yes. Weekly or bi-weekly 3-hour blocks are available by arrangement.

  • Rinse-only showers; stagger changing (max 4 at a time).
  • No knives, silicone sprays, or giant strides from blocks.
  • Secure hoses and weights.
  • Leave no trace, remove all markers and tape after use.

It varies. On average, one level per term, depending on frequency, attendance, and individual readiness.

Where capacity allows, yes. Enquire for availability and rates.

Consistent learning prevents regression, builds strength, confidence, and safety awareness all year long.

Water Aerobics & Baby Hydrotherapy

Teens to seniors seeking low-impact exercise for strength, balance, and mobility.

With an unlimited monthly access plan, join any scheduled class throughout the month.

Gentle aquatic therapy for babies aged 6 weeks – 12 months, focusing on sensory development, bonding, relaxation, and motor control.

Referral Scheme

Yes! Refer a new swimmer and earn R100 credit once they complete their first full month.

Ask your friend to list your full name and contact number when they sign up, we’ll link it automatically.

Yes. There’s no limit on referrals.

No. Referral credits apply only to lesson fees.
